1) It took 20 voicemail messages to fill Halbach's box
2) Halbach's mailbox was full on 11/3
3) On 11/4 Halbach's mailbox was still full and Mike Halbach listened to the messages hoping to find some information about her meeting someone or indicating in some other way where she could have gone but he indicated that none of the messages were relevant to what could have happened to her
4) Cingular didn't run the voicemail report until 11/16/05
5) 18 of the 20 messages that existed when Mike listened to the messages still existed on 11/16 but 2 didn't.
6) The 2 messages that no longer existed on 11/16 were from 10/31 or earlier because all voicemails left 11/1 forward still existed. The 10/31 voicemails from AT were not among the 18 so the 2 missing ones could have been those.
7) Unsaved voicemails would automatically purge after 14 days so if the voicemails were the 2 Auto Trader voicemails form 10/31 they would have been purged automatically by 11/14. If they were from prior to 10/31 then they would have been purged earlier than this. The report was run on 11/16 and thus they would have been purged if they had not been manually deleted.
Now it is time to vote, here are the universe of possibilities which is most likely?
Your vote: The 2 voicemails most likely were deleted manually by Mike Halbach
