Recently /u/OceanCarlisle reached out to me about /r/MarriedAtFirstSight & /r/MAFS_TV joining up again. He has indicated to me that he has a lot of regrets about the way the sub was being managed. His proposal is to add myself and one other mod and also utilizing some of the CSS I have created to make it a more aesthetically pleasing sub. For me, this community is all about YOU. So I told him that I would let the people speak. What are your thoughts on rejoining with them? IF I were to do this, I told him that I would require a partnership, and that I don't like to work with others who make it a habit of "pulling rank." If this were to happen, I would leave this sub open, but have a link directing others back to /r/MarriedAtFirstSight. I also included a stipulation that if, for any reason, drama ensues again, we would maintain the right to leave that sub again, and remain active over here. This is 100% the community's call, and I will respect whatever decision is made. Just know that if we decide to merge back with them, I will be active in ensuring we have an open space to communicate freely. I would also consider modding both if the vote is split. I still want everyone to have an option to have a place to discuss the show. I will keep this poll open throughout the weekend to give everyone time to see it and vote.
