So, I finally got Vaan's 35 cp today ( 45K gems 80 tickets later ) and I MLB'd both his weapons with power stones. I am now sitting with a MLB'd Squall and Vaan. Squall has been my support for months now and I feel like he always gets alot of use (I usually get around 100 uses from each each day). I read through Vaan's evaluation and saw the author mention that Vaan is pretty much the best support. I can see this for harder content but for farming cactuars is he really better than squall? I feel like the majority of support uses is for farming cactuars and Vaan can only one shot them after procing Whiteout or Luminescence. That means Red Spiral - Whiteout - Whiteout wouldn't work. You'd have to go all Red Spirals or all White Whorls. The only downside of Squall is that he only has 4 uses of Renzokuken. However, if it's not a mutual follow then I think Squall will put out more damage in 3 turns than Vaan can. So I'm really just wondering who would you prefer use as a support?
