[This recent post](https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/3wffq0/over_50_of_millenials_have_less_than_1000_saved/) claimed that more than 50% of Millennials have less than $1000 in savings per a Google Survey. Was wondering if politics had much to do with it among American Redditors.
