I have been playing this game since season 1. I use to be a toxic player myself when I was younger, but I stopped saying anything negative about 2 years ago. (I did not become a better person, I am just getting old). But I found I had another problem. I have been reporting people for almost every single game. As long as I heard anyone aggressively curse another player, I would report him after the game. Even the player gets cursed has a 0/10/X KDA, I feel bad about that player too, but I just don't think curse helps in anyways. I am not sure does banning really helps the toxic player gets better or even make them worse. How many bans would result in a perm ban? But only if the player keeps cursing nonstop, I would mute him/her. Otherwise, I only report them. Because some of them still make some useful calls. I am aware Riot says reporting too frequently will make your reports worthless, but I still get message told me the player got the penalty very frequently. I would like to know the other players' attitude towards reports and mutes.
