I teach photo workshops and create online tutorials. I'm trying to understand where people are coming from regarding how they set exposure on their cameras.
From reading /r/photography, it looks like most people use aperture-priority mode or manual mode. For those of you who use manual, I'm wondering how you determine your exposure settings.
I've been shooting professionally with film and digital cameras for over 30 years, so I'm not looking for technical guidance--just trying to understand the thought process of others.
