**It's contest time!** We have completed an entire year of PotM! And it's been a great one! We've had a ton of great submissions and outstanding winners. So this month's contest will be pitting the winners against each other to give us the very first Picture of the Year!
Obviously, there will be no submission period for this month. The **voting period** will end at 23:59 EST on **12/29**. At the conclusion of the voting period, the previous winner with the most votes will be declared the winner.
**Prizes:**
* One month of Reddit Gold (again!)
* Your picture will be the new sidebar picture of the sub for a month (again!)
* You will be awarded a special trophy flair *which says Picture of the Year*. Due to flair constraints, for now this will replace your current flair, though you will have the option of switching back to your current flair if you choose, you will always have the option to display your 'PotM/PotY trophy'
