Alright, I have a theory about Splatfest. The past many Splatfests have been Team Callie wins, and it looks like that trend is going to continue. I have a theory that Splatoon vetrans and ace players are (generally) choosing team Callie because of that team's win record, while splatoon newbies are (generally) choosing which team seems more appealing (ie: I chose team future because I'd rather visit the future). It's looking like team Past (Callie) is going to be the victor this time around, and I'm predicting team Future (Marie) is going to win the popularity vote. This would seem to back up my theory, especially since this is the first Splatfest after Christmas (where I'm sure a lot of people opened up a fresh copy of Splatoon under their tree).
