Since the previous [survey](http://www.reddit.com/r/Catholicism/comments/2lmaoz/free_friday_catholics_of_reddit_how_old_are_you/) was such a success (and /u/canuck1701 requested this...) I have decided to make this survey! So vote honestly like [good people](http://www.brutallyhonest.org/.a/6a00d834516bb169e2017c37997591970b-pi). Thank you!!!
I'm not really Canadian-born citizen... I'm a Filipino immigrant! I am currently living here in Surrey, British Columbia and I'm loving it!!! I wanted to know where you have come from.
Now, my thank you letter for Canadians... (you can skip the thank you letter... TL;DR you guys are awesome!!!, both Catholics and Non-Catholics alike!)
>Dear Canadians,
Thank you for adopting me along with my parents and brothers and sister here in Canada. We couldn't have done it without God and you guys... I am very pleased with your patience toward immigrants. If we did not come here seven years ago then my oldest brother would've died due to the expensiveness of the treatment of cancer (more than $300,000 = ₱11,943,372.45) and if we did then we would've been eating dirt by now... Thanks to you guys, you paid for that and I do not need to suffer poverty. Please pray with me to end world poverty...
>Let us pray for the illegal immigrants who are currently living in Canada, as Pope Francis supports of them (and God approves of this, surely!). I think His Holiness once said (I paraphrased because I can't find it) "People forgets that Jesus was an illegal immigrant too!"
>I have to admit, I said a lot of "I'm sorry" a lot ever since I came here! Also Canadian Maple syrup is awesome and I hope that you guys will still keep this awesome attitude as years comes and pass. I love you guys, for helping my countrymen during Typhoon Haiyan and gave us free, well **everything!** and enough for them to survive.
>I know that I came here when I was 11 years old and I am currently 18 years old I have no regrets... Sorry for a semi-long letter and bad grammars but I just want to say this out loud!
Sorry if I cannot reply back in the comment section because I should be studying right now. Please do not think of it as a rude gesture but rather think of it as a silent "Thank you!". I could write all day about how awesome Canada can be but I don't have time for that right now (sadly).
PS: Next survey would be American version of this!
