Hi friends! My fellow college undergrads and I are doing a research project on hacking in Fortnite and we wanted to gather some data on public opinion. We really value your input and your opinions will help us make a more compelling argument on the effect that hacking has on games like Fortnite. First, we want to clarify we are asking about publicly-released hacks--ie. hacks you can google and download because they exist on some public domain. This subset of hacks is interesting because, although it is released to the masses and has a widespread effect, it also allows analysts to observe an exposed vulnerability that could then be used to make an anti-cheat stronger and ban users in waves. In a way, it is almost self-defeating. Private hacks do not have this problem. So, we want to ask what you think about this issue. Thank you, and good luck on your matches!
