I'm supposed to start school in August, but I'm worried about what I'm getting myself into.
This especially escalated after getting my student loans. At full cost of attendance for four years, including interest, I'd graduate with $400,000 in medical school debt. (OOS, MD)
I'm worried if I realize later on I really don't want to do medicine, the debt will be so bad I won't have a choice but to continue.
So, from the experience of those who have been there, and know the realities of medicine - would you still choose to do it if somehow you were given the chance to erase all your debt?
Your vote: No, I'd leave medicine altogether
