Before anyone jumps the gun, yes I have an Xbox and my roommate has a PlayStation. This isn't a post to get upvotes, I really don't care for those. Now let's move on.
This isn't a post about complaining that I don't have exclusives that the PlayStation community has. This is a poll to show Bungie, Activision and many others that we as a gaming community are tired of these "exclusives". Originally having them was for a marketing purpose. "Hey come to Xbox when you buy Call of Duty and get this DLC 30 days before others." Okay sure made sense, but now it's getting out of hand. The fact that we have gone from 30 days to 365 days is insane. We want to play a game equally, have fun, find cool things to show off, neat tricks and tips. Hundreds of twitch streamers out there can't show off every part of the game if they are being limited to what they are receiving.
Honestly, this "console war"/pc master race thing is getting out of control as I have said. Why can't we all just enjoy games together? However, if you do feel that exclusives are the right way to go then by all means vote for that, but if one of your friends doesn't have one of the exclusives you do, that person is going to feel left out. The solution isn't simply "go buy the console that has them" because it's not just Destiny who is having this issue, it's more than that. Assassins Creed, Call of Duty, etc.
Cast your vote and let not only the developers/publishers know, but the community as a whole. Spread this post out and see what people really think.
Your vote: Keep Exclusives, but make them only last 30 days or less or a reasonable amount of time
