Bitcoin will probably, and eventually hard fork for a number of feature improvements. Even small-blockers (you know who you are) have given a nod to the necessity of growth.
In order for the community to be stable, this needs both to be engineered well - and to be at least grudgingly acceptable to most parties.
A mechanism called "Approval Voting" has been show to produce the best outcome when attempting to find acceptable solutions.
Instead of voting for your favorite solution, please vote for all of the scaling solutions that you would find acceptable.
Please assume the proposal will be adjusted to a 1 year after activation "lead time", and that the solution will use best practices for activation, replay protection, sigop limits, etc.
You should be advised that "EC" does not actually have a block height or trigger for consensus activation, is potentially unstable, and that both it and BIP100 may not lead to a block size increase at all. I'm including them because they appear to have some support. I prefer to make the assumption that any solution, *if* it were ever to go mainstream, would be subject to some reasonable engineering rigor before going live.
I understand this poll is, ultimately, meaningless. But if enough people vote, it may help uncover some places of consensus.
I will add new poll entries if they are suggested.
Your vote: No Segwit, Only BIP103 (2MB HF)
