After this post on /r/leagueoflegends, a lot of people seem to sway one way or the other.
Most of the arguments against it are that people don't want to speak to randoms.
Most of the arguments for it are that they DO want to be able to communicate with their teammates.
Heroes of Newerth and Dota2 both have in-game chat features. Neither of those games even come close to Leagues' level of toxicity.
So the main question is, do you care to speak to the randoms on your team? I'd love to see where the community stands and put this debate to rest.
Keep in mind, an in-game chat client would not REQUIRE you to talk. You can always still type your responses.
Your vote: No, I don't want an in-game chat client. I would not be comfortable speaking with randoms.
