So I wanted to make a poll to see which type of filtering users on this sub prefer!
Adguard has 2 types of filtering modes:
1. High Quality cosmetic filtering - This is Adguard's flagship feature, and is something missing from other adblockers. Banners, ads and in-line/in-app content are invisible so there won't be any gaps or empty banners in your content.
2. DNS filtering - This is the battery saving option (especially with the inclusion of DNS Libs in 3.5) and designed for low-end phones according to Adguard. It works well because apps are usually stubborn and will try repeatedly to connect to an ad server even when it cannot. Adguard solves this by sending the first request into a 'black hole', which saves CPU time on all the subsequent requests.
