Trying to put some research together for a discussion and need some help. The question is simple:
When gamers refer to “DLC” in games, does your mind consider that type of content different from microtransactions, or do you group microtransaction content together with “DLC”?
Feel free to discuss any caveats or clarifications below. Do you consider free content updates as DLC? Does the cost of the content make it one category or another? Does permanent ownership make a difference? Whatever ya’ll like.
Your vote: No, DLC and Microtransactions are different types of content.
