If the Magnaguards ever come as reinforcements what do you think should be the equivalent for the Republic ? Senate Guards/Commandos are a popular choice since both are technically "bodyguards" but I feel they are not quite on the same strength level. I think Jedi Knights are a more fitting thematic choice. They could also be customizable with various heads, even alien ones. What do you think ?
