Let’s try to give Bungie a good summary of the community’s overarching opinion on this matter. Please be serious, and please don’t flood answers with multiple accounts - 1 answer per community member. Terms: - Soft cap: Power level limit that requires no Pinnacle gear (e.g., 960 in Dawn) - Hard cap: Power level limit that requires Pinnacle gear (e.g., 970 in Dawn) - EXCLUDING artifact levels: Power level from gear only - INCLUDING artifact levels: Power level from gear + levels from artifact
