Conventional wisdom (also recommended by Miata manual) says to change oil every 3000 miles or 5000 miles depending on driving style. Conventional wisdom also says it doesn't matter what oil you use as long as you change the oil in recommended intervals.
I'm curious what this subreddit's actual maintenance cycle looks like!
