I'm curious about others' preferences when it comes to the materials of recasts. I personally wouldn't buy a recast which differed from the original material of the model, since as much as possible I'd like my recasts to go under the radar. Particularly with regards to some resin versions of classic metals, it would be really obvious from the weight that it was a recast.
Your vote: I only buy recasts made of a similar material to the original (eg resin/plastic)
