In the [recently stickied mod post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Barca/comments/f2v2c4/announcement_post_change_in_open_thread_policy/), the mods of this sub want to phase out Open Threads. There seem to be very different opinions on if this is a good idea. What does the community think? Is this a good idea?
