After Citizencon 2946 I have been getting a lot of positive feedback and now all my friends who said this was a scam are now backing, and admitting I was right this whole time. Some are still skeptical but almost all of them are backing now, and supporting this epic project, as well as now following with a magnifying lens. I am making this poll so I have some actual evidence that my experience is not a special case, and that "The Tide Has Turned".
