Yesterday I started a post with links to a generally known video website where the items for the next two CoM seasons and some new forest items were shown.
The videos were obviously made by hackers and this subreddit has a rule that doesn't allow posting information about cracks, hacks, exploits or other illegal or unethical content or procedures in any way. I didn't think I would break this rule by my post, because the videos didn't show in anyway how they managed to unlock the upcoming items.
Yet, my post was deleted after about an hour by one of the moderators, with the argument that they give a very, very broad interpretation to the rule.
This makes it impossible to share on this subreddit information about new items that is disclosed by hackers, while this information can be found on other sites.

What do you think? Should the moderators ban all information from hackers, not only information on how to hack, but also harmless information about new seasons and items, or should the moderators take a less restricted approach?
