For D-pad only games (e.g. Tetris 99, Super Mario Maker 2), which is the controller that offers the best combination of response time (lag) and D-pad precision? It can be wired or wireless. The only condition is for it to have a D-pad, the A/B/X/Y buttons, and a pair of shoulder buttons. The joy-cons are very effective, but the tiny buttons are uncomfortable on the thumbs after a while.
