Since the idea seems to be interesting for many, here's the poll to vote for your favourite candidate Home System for ElitePS, a system where people can go and be reasonably certain to meet other human players to wing up with, to get help from, or just to have a chat with in local com (on PS4, of course). The consensus seems to be that it would be good to choose a Li Yong-Rui system (for the 15% discount on ships and modules). Other desirable features would be good outfitting options (high-tech economy), one or more hazres, pristine metallic rings, a black market, and a relatively "central" location within the Bubble. Note, I have excluded those systems that are already home to a Player Minor Faction -- it doesn't seem fair to screw up their BGS work, since inevitably people are going to take up missions, sell exploration data, cash in bounties, shoot down NPCs....and other BGS-relevant actions. This means that many nominated systems (Diguanidri, Ix, LHS20...) are not eligible, as they already host one or more PMFs. So, here's a list of suggestions, a few come from proposals in the previous thread, and a few more from random systems I've found that fit the criteria. Take a look at the EDDB links (consider which bodies are in the system, how close the main station is, if there's a black market, and so on...don't just vote because of the name) and then cast your vote. The Poll will last one week (until the 21st). How did I choose?: from EDDB, looked for Li-Yong Rui, high-tech systems within 150ly from Sol. These are the only ones without a PMF. Not all of these have gas giants with rings, or black markets. I also excluded a couple of PMF-free systems where the main station was several 100s of Kls from the star.
