So ever since Dressrosa has ended in the manga, I've debated people about who actually was stronger: Luffy or Doflamingo. By 'stronger' I of course mean their overall combat ability. Who was the better fighter? It wasn't a clear 1 on 1 with an easy and straight answer, and people seem to be very divided about the subject. I kind of want to find out what the majority think. Some food for thought: - Luffy had already fought Bellamy and Don Chinjao before - Doflamingo had already fought Law and Sanji before - Luffy landed a good Red Hawk with Law's help in the very beginning - Trebol was a factor, although minor - Doflamingo was hurt by Gamma Knife - Doflamingo was maintaining an island-wide, haki-imbued ability while fighting Luffy, just to prove a point - Luffy was not able to hurt Doflamingo without Gear 4th by himself - Luffy outclassed Doflamingo in Gear 4th in terms of power and speed - Luffy couldn't defeat Doflamingo before his time in Gear 4th ran out - Luffy had to be protected from Doflamingo by an army of gladiators, which allowed him a second Gear 4th phase - Once Luffy regained his strength he landed an overwhelming blow against Doflamingo So what are your thoughts.
