I'm helping my mentor put together a new program to train traders and potentially hire them when they're good enough (remote trading).
The reason he wants to go back into mentoring is that the fund has grown, some traders have left to pursue their own path and he wants more traders on board to add more diversity / smooth out the equity curve.
In order to get a job, you need to be good enough - not in terms of personal trading performance, but in terms of trading like a fund / managing investor funds. He wants to mentor more traders to grow them into professional traders, then give them an allocation of our funds if/when they've succeeded.
Mentoring isn't about a set of rules on how to trade, it's about having someone to hold you accountable for your actions, teach you the psychology, and help you take your knowledge and turn it into a profitable system.
The trouble we're having is he doesn't want to be seen as another "sign up to my service" gig.
Ideally he wants to hire traders as quickly as possible so, in order to speed up the mentoring process, he wants to know what rookie traders would benefit from most. Is it the development of the system? Psychological behavior? Fundamentals? You tell us, and we'll focus the program on the areas you think would benefit you most.
To avoid breaking any forum rules, the program will not be promoted on /r/forex once it's live. If you're interested, comment / PM me and I'll message you once it's ready (won't be for at least 3-4 months and there will likely be limited spaces).
If there are multiple areas you will benefit from, please select the one that's most important to you.
TL;DR - Forex mentor wants to know what aspect of mentoring rookie traders would benefit from most.
