The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are 12 years old, there's been no new games for a decade and we're at least 2 years away from a new one. There is little new content coming out, kept only alive by people having fun with it. That said, memes are problematic, in that most are terrible and add nothing while generating no discussion. This can mean that some more interesting discussions and questions get buried under their weight. So, the question becomes, how do you want to deal with it?
