Considering how infrequent the patches and content released for WoW have become, and how sub levels have constantly declined since Wrath's peak - How do you feel about the current patch/content release frequency and parting with your $15 per month.
I'm going to quickly & roughly compare content release schedules for a couple of expansions, just to give a vague idea of the dates. *(not including expansion pre-patches since they are pretty much just part of the expansion)*.
*****
####**November 2008** - Wrath of the Lich King Released - 7 Dungeons & 4 raids, amongs other content.
*(Take note we had Isle of Quel Danas in March 2008, and Zul Aman in November 2007, 8 months between updates)*
* **April 2009** - Ulduar, Argent Tourny
* **August 2009** - Crusaders' Coliseum, Koralon, Isle of Conquest
* **September 2009** - Onyxia Raid.
* **December 2009** - 3 Frozen Halls instances, Icecrown Citadel raid, Dungeon Finder.
* **June 2009** - Ruby Sanctum raid.
* **December 2009** - Catacylsm released.
*****
####**November 2014** - Warlords of Draenor Released - 7 Dungeons & 2 raids, amongst other content.
*(Take note last content patch before WoD was Timeless Isle and Siege of Orgrimmar raid in September 2013, 14 months between updates.)*
* **February 2015** - Blackrock Foundry raid, Rukhmar world boss.
* **June 2015** - Hellfire Citadel raid, Tanaan Jungle.
* **September 2016** - Legion expected to be released

These were the major content patches for two expansions, as you can see WoD has had a pretty lengthy drought in content, even worse than MoP which was notorious for the painful length of the Siege of Orgrimmar patch [see here](http://i.imgur.com/w0deu0t.jpg?1).
WoD did come with a lot of other major content which Wrath didn't have, like Garrisons (ugh) and new Character Models in the pre-patch, which was probably quite a lot of work, but wrath wasn't without a great pre-patch to be fair.
Curious how /wow/ feels about this because I don't really see many talking about it. I feel like as WoW ages, they're making less patches (which is where your sub money goes), and releasing more expansions to pocket another $40 off everyone; this whole thing makes me cautious about how Legion is going to turn out, have they lost it? are we just a cash cow to them now?
