Hi all, Looking on ebay there are a lot of older laptops and desktops that could still be of use especially if a lighter OS was installed on them. So my question is which would be most popular among the Linux crowd. Now I know that most of you on this subreddit will be completely comfortable with installing linux on old hardware on your own. I would like your opinion though on which would be most appealing to those just entering the Linux world.
