Goals: Clerk as as high as I can (I'm liberal so I wouldn't be using UChicago's fed soc back channels) and then government; ideally at main justice or as an AUSA. I know I'll probably have to work in biglaw to get a DOJ or AUSA job so I'm willing to put in a few years at a firm if necessary. But I'll be applying to DOJ honors just as a long shot to avoid firm life. I have personal ties to both schools/locations. I'm financing all of my education through loans so I've already accepted that I'll have some debt, but of course less is better. All else equal UChicago is a no brainer so I guess what I'm asking is do you think the extra cost is worth it for my goals.
