Tifu Florida - On July 4th my friend had a get together at his place where a few people were present. The drinking was yet to begin and people were gathered around a table awaiting to begin the BBQ. At the side of the table was a BB gun, I picked it up and aimed it at a few things with my finger no where near the trigger. My friends wife asks me if it was a real gun and I told her it was not and that it was a BB gun. I then handed it to her so she could inspect it, albeit not upon her request. She then proceeds to aim it at her husbands face which is received not well by him and he scolds her for doing that because it was dangerous. She then points it at the wall and pulls the trigger in the house, damaging a priceless family heirloom of the host of the party.
My question is this, how culpable am I for handing her the weapon? What degree of blame should be placed on upon her for firing the weapon and damaging the heirloom. What percentage of the repair fee's should I be responsible for, if any?
