So we've all seen the posts about Vives dying from sweat. As far as I can tell, every one of them I have seen the person was running one of the fake leather VR Covers.
Is this accurate? Could it be that using the non-absorbent covers is really what is driving Vive failures?
Of course, it could also be that people who know they sweat more are more likely to buy the replacement covers to begin with, but I think it would be helpful to at least try to grab some data on what cover was being used for a Vive that died from sweat. I'm keeping the answers pretty simple to see if a pattern emerges.
