SPOILERS FOR S08E03 THE LONG NIGHT So I thought about it a lot and I'm really torn about the Battle of Winterfell. While I think it was an incredible spectacle, I also think there was a lot more potential to build on. My main concern is this: how on earth am I supposed to care about our heroes battling Cersei if they LITERALLY just defeated death? How can anything yet to come surpass the threat of Winter? I simply can't image that the showrunners don't want to end the show on the highest note possible, and I don't see how the Last War can be a bigger climax than the Great War, so I'm curious how you guys feel.
