Hi all! A few members have asked about making this subreddit private. We're open to the idea, but we would love your input before making that decision. We've created this poll to let you all of you weigh in. Please vote by **5:00 PM EST on Tuesday, January 21** to indicate whether you would like this sub to stay public or go private. Pros of going private: * only approved members will have the ability to view or comment on any posts * posts here won't be searchable by non-members Cons of going private: * mods must invite / approve everyone who wishes to view or participate in the sub * mobile users in particular might have difficulty finding or accessing the group * users must be logged in to view the subreddit. Again, this might be difficult for mobile users or people using shared computers. * if something happens and the mods are all hit by a bus, there won't be anyone available to approve new members Your votes will remain anonymous but the vote tally will be public. Please don't hesitate to message mods if you have feedback you would like to share privately.
