I was doing some war gaming on what I would do if I were Oculus/Valve. One move that occurred to me was offering a Vive lighthouse controller bundle. Toss in Tilt Brush, Fantastic Contraption, and The Lab. and put it out there for $199 as soon as there was free manufacturing capacity. One of the benefits is it captures users buying touch games before Oculus has them available. This reduces chances of full Oculus store VR lock-in for those who buy them. Makes more money for struggling HTC, as well as Valve. Devs make morecmoney soiner. And it is good for consumer. If they became available in May, and Oculus doesn't even have a scheduled release, or pricing, yet for their controllers, would you buy them?

Heck yeah! Oculus headset, and Vive lighthouse controllers, best of both worlds!

No way! More natural hand pose and ergonomics FTW! A few more months won't kill me.

Maybe, if a killer game came out, if lighthouse reviews are awesome, if Oculus is radio silent still,I might give in.

Dude, that price! Make it like $129, no games, and I might think about it.
