Personally I'm right handed, and I skate with my right foot forward, and spin/jump to the right (clockwise). For me it's a really strong preference. It feels weird skating with my other foot forward, and I can barely turn the other way. I've tried to work on it but keep coming back to what feels most natural. I'm wondering if other people have a strong preference, and if it's linked to which hand you use, or whether it's more random. Watching skating videos it looks like people's preferences are all over the place.
