I truly mean this in the most respectful way. Anyone find posts that go like "I'm planning on starting Keto after [insert some varying amount of time to accommodate a glutinous event here]?" slightly annoying? Note, I'm not, in anyway, putting this in the same camp as delaying Keto due to some medical restriction and/or traumatic experience (which can be justifiable IMO, if we're keeping count).
I understand that there are social pressures, mainly against this WOE, and for some people, book-ending life events (read: New Year Resolutions) may help adherence to a plan, but isn't this just a self deprecating philosophy opening oneself up to making excuses and setting up for failure?
If this is how people get motivated to instill positive change in their lives, then all power to them and KCKO (when you're ready), but I've consistently found the quote "Yesterday You Said Tomorrow" to ring true to stop making accommodations and improve myself.
Would love to know your thoughts.
KCKO! (eventually for some)
