So now that everyone should have had a chance to play the new Yamato how do you guys like it? IMO, the first part is the same, Run, kill enemies, run, kill more enemies, same as normal, just with vegas stuff. However, the 2nd part is AWESOME. I mean, it's no Yamato-transforming-into-mecha levels of awesome, but it is still pretty cool. The new attacks (the part when it spawns 4 space shuttles is killer if you dont focus em and the lasers from heaven is pretty sick), the teleportation (as opposed to just diving under water), and the double missile salvo makes this a fun and challenging boss, even if there is no risk of failure. (INB4 the rematch)
