I created this poll to see if people have experienced permanent burn-in with their OLED TVs. I'm not referring to image retention either, which eventually goes away.
I see a lot people hesitant in buying OLED TVs because they see "studies" or burn-in tests where the OLED TV suffers burn-in, and it's very noticeable. I've even see store display models suffer from it, but that's usually because those TV's are left on the entire day and run through the same demo video over and over again.
In any case, I want to see if burn-in is a serious issue with OLED TVs, or if people are just blowing it out of proportion. I think it's the latter.
I broke up the responses based on the year your model was released. For example, an LG C8 model is from 2018, an LG C7 is from 2017, etc. If you're still not sure about the year your OLED model was released, then google the release date of that model.
I hope this poll helps to dispel some of the concerns people have with OLED TVs getting burn-in. I suspect older models will suffer more from it than the some of the newer ones, which come with better burn-in protection.
