I like Jigoku a lot, and have donated, as should anyone who plays, thanks a ton to the devs for a super easy way to get practice.
One "bug" I logged was on Policy Debate, all the cards are logged to the chat permanently, and hyperlinked (full card shown on mouse-over). Note that there is also a pop-up menu that shows all the cards and lets you pick the discard, so the log is redundant.
The response was that this wasn't a bug but a "design decision".
My opinion, and that of people I play with, is that it's an unnecessary deviation from the actual game, where you have to rely on memory (note taking is disallowed) and the logging serves no purpose other than to remove this aspect. You are already forced to interact with the popup, so it doesn't even seem like there's a clarity or usability argument.
I actually like the convenience, but I'm trying to practice for the real game, so I'd prefer replication (in this case, where it has a strategic ramifications)
Would love to hear some thoughts, if I'm wrong I'm wrong.
