This is the official voting thread for this month's Picture of the Month contest! (The submission period is over) This month's topic was ***Dorsal Fins!*** The picture must focus on a fish (salt, fresh or brackish) that has a "cool" dorsal fin. This month we are trying something different. Voting will be done via poll using [reddit poll](http://redditpoll.com). This is in an attempt to make voting easier and more fair. The voting will last until 11:59EST on 8/30/2016 at which point the highest voted picture will be declared the winner. Prizes: * One month of Reddit Gold * Your picture will be the new background of the sub for a month * You will be awarded a special trophy flair. Due to flair constraints, for now this will replace your current flair, though you will have the option of switching back to your current flair if you choose, you will always have the option to display your 'PoTM trophy'
