Personally for this game at least, I'm in the camp that likes to see nerfs over buffs (more true as power creep increases).
My reasoning is that buffs on champs I don't play, especially on champs that I hate playing against already directly impact my game experience. While buffs on champions I do play mean that champ's pick rate goes up and I'm more likely to get banned out/pick stole in draft.
I'd feel more open to more frequent buffs if champs felt more fair to play against when they are ahead. They can be strong, but should feel like there's ways to play around their strengths. Currently, buffs in my eyes give champs avenues to reach that state of limited counterplay easier, and so I am vigorously against them.
Curious what the general sentiment is for everyone else, since it seems like Riot's philosophy is that buffs = players are happy, nerfs = players unhappy.
