Seeing that the invisible man (2020) film is not connected to the Dark universe. Especially that Leigh Whannell stated in CinemaBlend's ReelBlend Podcast that the movie is not part of any cinematic universe, I think we must sadly confirm that the Dark universe franchise is dead after the failure of the first (and now only) film of the dark universe The Mummy (2017), Which means that Universal is really focusing on Standalone projects based on the iconic monsters of the Universal monsters franchise. Which leaves us with one question, what are we going to do with this /r/DarkUniverse/ Reddit site? Basically I have only two options on what should we do with this Reddit site, Merge with /r/UMCU/ site since it has the similar theme about universal monsters, or remove the site since the franchise is now defunct. Though some people claim that the dark universe is still there, and they let the Reddit site stay So with that I am creating a poll where Reddit users and even moderators will decide the fate on what to do with the /r/DarkUniverse/ Reddit site 1) Merge with /r/UMCU/ 2) Delete/End this Reddit site 3) Or let it stay Vote in this poll to decide /r/DarkUniverse/ 's fate.
