# IMPORTANT!!!
So basically, I **created this account** just for that (of course Iʼll use it for other stuff too, but until now, I was just a random visitor of Reddit without an account). Anyways, please take one minute to read this and give your vote until 20:30 UTC time (= four and a half hours left after this post was created).

As we know, there are several ways to write numbers – and one of them are so called “medieval numbers”. The difference to standard numbers (where all numbers have the full height) is that only the numbers 6 and 8 have the full height, while 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9 have descenders. 0, 1 and 2 havenʼt got ascenders nor descenders. I posted two photos below – the first one shows medieval numbers on a typical advertisement (own photo) and the second one is a “clean example” of medievial numbers in the font 18thCentury in LibreOffice Writer. Just to ensure that you know what Iʼm talking about.

**Now to you:**
I need the personal opinion of AS MANY typography guys AS POSSIBLE in the next four and a half hours. If there wonʼt be enough votes until then, Iʼll extend the deadline, but I would be really glad if you – yes, you! – could say **which version of numbers you prefer**, although I know that there are many pros/cons on this topic. Just vote for the one you find better without overthinking it too much. Comments donʼt count, the only thing I need is the raw numbers of votes ASAP.
I will NOT say on which side I am, but the only thing I can say is that I created kind of a bet and after long discussions, Iʼll let you guys decide which number style is better…
Thank you guys in advance :)
