Do you think a mutual quit button is needed or not? Would you prefer how it was in FIFA 13 in which you could quit in the first 5 minutes if a goal wasn't scored?
With a mutual quit, you could send a one-time offer anytime in the match to your opponent to quit, given that the score is tied. If your opponent agrees, neither player loses contracts or gains any points. The game is not counted in any way, shape or form.
With a "First 5 minutes" quit, the player themselves can quit out of the game in the first 5 in game minutes if the score is tied without penalty. No contracts lost, no points given, no record of the game. To do so, you would need to obtain possession of the ball, pause, then quit. Turning off the console/dash boarding would result in a loss/DC.
