To elaborate: each weapon gets a moveset like Dark Souls. There's a very small delay between the weapon swing and the hit to allow time to parry, but moves can be chained and the weapon swing hits everything in range. For example, swords do a sweeping zornhauw on left and a zornhauw back on second click, right click for single-target stab; machetes don't stab but can execute a heavy cleave on jump attack. Players have a posture stat. Parrying takes points off posture to avoid damage, at 0 posture the player is downed and can be easily attacked. Posture regenerates quickly when not hit; armor slows down regen but increases the posture cap. Basically, Sekiro/Dark Souls in MC, yay or nay?
