Psyonix recently released a new vote for arenas in the game selection screen. However, in my case it seems like I get the 'non-normal maps" more often for some reason. This made me think whether anyone actually prefers playing on the odd-shaped maps as opposed to the normal rectangular maps. I think the whole concept of different maps is fun and all, however I don't think it should be implemented into ranked games. In football/soccer there are also specific dimensions for each pitch to ensure a level playing field, personally I believe rocket league should set a certain size that all maps must be. I can't see the champions league final being played on a hexagonal pitch. Some might say it will get boring seing the same thing over and over again. I beg to differ, the scenery of the maps can be changed tremendously without affection the dimensions and still keeping it interesting. All in all I think rocket league should adapt specific requirements for ranked multiplayer play. Rocket league is an extremely competitive game and all differences between different games/lobbies should be kept to a minimum. RJLouw
