The second player in Prismata is given seven drones instead of six because the developers wanted to ensure that the second player doesn't suffer from the [first-move advantage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First-move_advantage_in_chess) problem. However, I think that this has caused the needle to swing too far in the other direction. The problem with giving the second player one extra drone is that it gives the second player one extra gold every turn. Hence, as the game goes on the second player would reap more and more benefits. Personally, I think that the second player should get a [Doomed Drone](http://prismata.gamepedia.com/Doomed_Drone) instead. Anyway, lacking any statistical data the best we can do is speculate. So, I'd like to know the thoughts of some of the veteran players of Prismata. Do you think that giving the second player one extra drone in the beginning is too overpowered? If so, then what would you do to solve this problem?
