We all know Tesla is not just a carmaker, Model 3/S/X/etc are not just a cars and Tesla crowd is not just a group of car-lovers,
in the sense of Porsche/Toyota/BMW/etc owners clubs.
Tesla owners seem to be much less oriented to car ot tech details and much more about the ideology.
And even that ideology dimension seem to be mostly of self-interest - to expose themselves as "different" and "visionaries",
at least for sizeable amount.
So, I wonder how many of them are truely adept with technology.
Most of them seem to just figure "I paid/am still poaying/ for the car and this came with it, so I better use it."
And even in their most hardcore technical core, most of the crowd seem to be python "programmers, which couldn't change a lightbulb ( ordinary LED or CCFL in their home, nevermind the car!)
without pip or similar automated tool.
Latest example of this posted link about RF BrainScan, as it is tested and used en-mass all across EU today. With link to relevant, registered patents from the distannt past (1976),
with clear explanation of working principles, later developments ( army etc) and link to report about recent ( month ago) attack on american ambassador in Cuba.
Elon himself has said on NeuraLink presentation that RF scan is one of the avenues of intensive research.
All I've got back is a bunch of alu-foil-hat responses, without any technical rebuttal. When Elon talks about implanting a thousands of electrodes into ones brain as a routine job, that's fine ( part of the ceremony, I guess).
But if anyone even hints that Israeli Ferengis might be doing competing jobs all across EU, that's obviously heresy.
Such knowledge is not profitable...
So I wonder, how much of that is conspiracy and how much is just (willfull?) ignorance ?
Question is, supposing that Tesla "open sources" tommorow all the technical documentation one might need to make any kind of tweak, service job or change on any of their vehicles today,
do you think you could you use it to tweak acceleration curve on your vehicle, outside of what is available through UI ( menus etc) ?
YOu are allowed to use any standard, generic tool ( scope, multimeters, dataloggers, LXI/LAN/I2C/SPI/CAN/etc scanners, dissasssembler, assemblers, compilers etc), wiithout any ready-made patches, YT videos, howtos etc
